PDR Mounts are the only ones I use and will install. We Now Have 4 PDR Brand Mounts In Our House, 1 at our last house, and even have friends who buy them because of our success with them. Simple Review - Quality Made Mounts, Precision Engineered, Everything They Advertise Is True. Watch out for cheap imitation mounts, they seriously WILL NOT HOLD what PDR Mounts can. Made in Southern California, American Company. QUALITY QUALITY QUALITY. Why would you risk a $30 Wal-Mart mount to hold you several hundred (or several thousand) dollar TV. With the rebate offer, you can't go wrong.
The PDR 4360A Articulating Mount replaced my original Mustang Flat Panel Tilt Mount for my 50 inch Panasonic plasma TV. The only slight negative versus the Mustang mount was that the Mustang's wall plate had larger openings than the PDR's wall plate, which resulted in some limitation or restriction on the exact wall placement due to interference with my electrical and cable boxes. This is a very heavy duty mount, and the TV feels very secure with it. The articulating feature provides easy access to the back panel for cable installation (which was a pain with the flat panel mount), as well as allows adjusting the TV's position to optimum viewing angles in our den. However, this was not a major issue, but one to consider when mounting the PDR.This is my second PDR articulating mount (the first was a PDR 3442A for a 42 inch Samsung LCD TV). Overall, PDR makes 5 star mounts, and my family are very pleased with both of our articulating mounts.
This product works really well. It is made well and holds the TV secure.You can move it easily so you can see your TV from almost any spot.We use it in our bedroom for a 42 inch LG TV.
Amazon states this mount is designed to fit a flat screen TV up to 42". This was the second PDR mount I purchased from Amazon. After cross referencing this mount against the manufacturers product line (on their website) I confirmed it was only designed to fit up to a 36" TV. This one, like the first was very well constructed. I've always had very good luck with my Amazon purchases but after almost a complete install (yes the mount was attached to the wall) I found Amazon's product description for this item was not only misleading, but inaccurate. If you own a 42" and are considering this mound, beware. PDR makes a very good product, but just know the PDR3442A did not fit my 42" Panasonic plasma.
The mount is priced well and is heavy. Look at their instruction sheets and use them as a model. The directions included with the mount lack though. Instruction writers should visit an IKEA store and purchase a cabinet. IKEA directions are step by step illustrated. An excellent mount.
